CASPER -- No services for Gordon L. Northcott, Sr., 87, are planned at the present time. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Bustard's Funeral Home and Crematory.

He died on May 2, 2008, at Poplar Living Center.

He was born on March 21, 1921, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Samuel J. and Nola M. (Bottom) Northcott.

On July 1, 1943, he married Pollyanne Everly at Camp Edwards, Mass.

He was a self-employed rancher.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and family get-togethers.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 65 years; two sons, Gordon L., Jr., and his family of Crawford, Neb., and Charles F. of Casper; a daughter, Sandra Rader and her family of Casper; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, and his parents.
